Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam MBBS, MRCGP (London), FRCS (Edinburgh) is a respected General Practitioner in the United Kingdom with a special interest in cardiac, neurological and peripheral vascular diseases. At his Practice, he is the Clinical Lead for cardiovascular diseases, including atrial fibrillation, ischaemic heart disease and hypertension.

Born and raised in Bangladesh, having received his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, Dr Islam is passionate about his involvement in the ‘Waste to Energy’ project due to its potential to positively affect the lives of the people of Bangladesh by providing them with a source of renewable energy, as well as with a cleaner, healthier environment.

Through his work on this innovative project, and in his role as a Director of “Think Green Limited’ energy project, Dr Islam hopes Bangladesh will become an inspiring example of how working together to help the environment can improve the health, happiness and wellbeing of a great many people.
